Mount Olivet Cemetery's pre-arrangement services allows you to plan and pay for your burial months, years or even decades ahead of time.
Mount Olivet Cemetery offers complete pre-arrangements of burial lots and other products such as vaults, markers and monuments. It is now possible to pay in advance for opening/closing, vaults, monuments, markers and final dates on monuments and markers.
What are the benefits?
Paying in advance for these products protects you from any future increases that the cemetery will make. Items can be paid for in monthly payments with no interest or finance charges at a rate to suit your budget.
Pre-paying also helps to relieve your family of the financial burden at a time when they are dealing with grief and loss. |
| Burial Services |

| Burial services consist of the lot purchase, opening and closing of the grave and the monument or marker of the gravesite. Cremation burial is also an option.
Lot prices as of July 1, 2008 are $1,100.00 per grave site. Opening and Closing services are $1,025.00 for an adult burial and Cremation burial is $672.50 without a tent and $722.20 with a tent.
Mount Olivet Cemetery also can provide a sealed, asphalt/concrete fiber-glass lined burial vault for $1,372.00. Monuments vary in price due to personal choice, but are usually priced around $2,400.00 for a typical granite memorial for a two grave lot.

Special Care Lots
 Another unique service offered by Mount Olivet Cemetery is the planting of shrubbery on Special Care lots. Special Care lots are those where lot owners request additional care in addition to the perpetual care that we offer with all lot purchases.
Perpetual Care is the mowing of the lots and trimming of the grass around the monuments and markers.
Special Care covers the lots, markers, monuments and any special seeding or sodding of the lot. All lots must have Special Care in order to have an endowment planting of shrubs, etc. The price for the endowment is determined by the number of plants and the future cost of replacements. This amount is invested and the income is then used to service the plantings. A typical planting of shrubbery will cost about $ 2,000. This is a one time cost to fund the planting.

Floral Service **New Service**
 Keep your loved ones' grave decorated season to season or year round on an ongoing basis. We now provide seasonal floral arrangements in vases that can be put on monuments, crypts or niches. Long-term endowments are also available. Contact us for more information.
Flowers for arrangements will change seasonally.

Mausoleum Burial
Built in 1997, the Chapel/Mausoleum offers an alternative form of burial which is the oldest form of burial, crypt entombment. Also the Mausoleum provides for cremation by offering niches within the unit or on the outside of the building. Plans are now under way in the building of two additional units adjacent to the current building.
Prices start at $9,966.00 for a true companion crypt (2 adults) located on the outside of the building, and up to $11,506.00 (2 adults) located on the inside (see photos). Price includes crypt, 2’ X 1’ marker and the opening and closing of the crypt. Customer may also pick from 4 bronze marker pattern designs.
