WWI Memorial Kiosk Dedication

You are cordially invited to join the Friends of Mount Olivet, Carrollton Manor Chapter, NSDAR and the American Legion, Francis Scott Key Post 11 as we formally dedicate this World War I memorial at the “Never Forget Garden.”

The “Never Forget Garden” serves as a living tribute to all of America’s veterans and their families. In silence and respect, this will be a place for all to remember that millions of Americans have fought and died for our liberty and our freedom.

Our special guest for the ceremony is Richard A. Azzaro, who served at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from March 1963 until April of 1965. He is a co-founder of the Society of the Honor Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and served as the inaugural Vice President and then later as President. He is the Director of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Never Forget Garden Committee.
